Brief description of the business idea:

Our goal is the creation of Vision Systems that would enable the machines to see in 3D. For humans 3D vision is easy, but for robots it often requires a mixture of lasers, stereo cameras, GPS systems or even sonars. As a result, such systems are complex, unreliable and (not surprisingly) they come with major price tags - sometimes in the hundreds of thousands USD.

An obviously easier and cheaper solution would be a simple video-camera that would paint a 3D image of what it sees, similar to human vision. Our goal is to develop & manufacture such cameras and license the technology. Camera-based Vision Systems will allow the machines to see in 3D using simple and reliable technology. This, in turn, could facilitate the creation of new types of unmanned vehicles in the near future.
