LMU EC is conducting research in a variety of fields of entrepreneurship. The research agenda of LMU EC covers entrepreneurial management and strategy, the economics of entrepreneurship, the impact of entrepreneurship on society as well as its psychological and political aspects.

In particular, LMU EC focuses its research on the following topics:

The growth of firms
Success factors of entrepreneurial start-ups
Strategic management in entrepreneurial companies
Entrepreneurial finance, also covering venture capital
Intellectual property
Entrepreneurs in high-tech and biotech industries
Entrepreneurship education

Results from our research activities are regularly published, both in national and international leading academic journals.
