The LMU Entrepreneurship Excellence Program (LMU EEP) is a new program for students at the LMU which integrates the courses of LMU EC and its partners, the Institute for Innovation Research, Technology Management and Entrepreneurship (INNO-tec) and the LMU Spin-off Service. This program shows the entrepreneurial excellence of students and alumni of the LMU EC.
The courses in this study-accompanying certificate program emphasize team work and dealing with real business creation- and enterprise-related projects. In cooperation with researchers at LMU, founders of new small businesses and entrepreneurs as well as established companies in Munich and surroundings, students enhance products and services to marketable solutions or open up new markets for already existing solutions.
Upon graduation of this certificate program, the participants benefit from additional courses within our Alumni-Program. Furthermore, they become members of the constantly growing Alumni-Network of the LMU EC.
The lectures, seminars and workshops of the LMU EEP contain academic modules, which are taught by the team of LMU Entrepreneurship Center and its network partners. Additionally, insights in the hands-on work of our partners, successful entrepreneurs, investors and founder coaches, are a fundamental part of the program.
Previous guests in our courses, among many others, were Mark Zuckerberg (facebook), Dr. Thomas Strüngmann (HEXAL), Kolja Hebenstreit (spreadshirt) and Rolf Christof Dienst (Wellington Partners), but also founders of successful LMU spin-offs, such as Dr. Barbara Mayer (Sphero-Tec) or Dr. Peter Heinrich (MediGene).
All successful participants of the LMU EEP are awarded an LMU Entrepreneurship Certificate of Distinction (LMUU EC-D) or LMU Entrepreneurship Certificate of Excellence (LMU EC-E). These certificates attest the recipients the successful participation in an intensive entrepreneurship study program and distinguish them for their willingness to acquire knowledge beyond the domains of their main subjects or to select consciously the focus of their studies.
The granting of the certificates takes place within the series “Leading Entrepreneurs”.
