Management Team

The Center is led jointly by Andy Goldstein and Prof. Dietmar Harhoff, Ph.D.

Andy Goldstein is a successful entrepreneur with 25 years experience in building and growing companies. In addition to his position as the LMU EC’s CEO, Mr. Goldstein is the Chief Operating Officer Europe and a Member of the Board of Directors of Avanquest Software SA, a multinational software corporation traded on Euronext Exchange in Paris.

The Center’s academic excellence is assured by the leadership of Prof. Dietmar Harhoff, Ph.D. and Prof. Dr. Bernd Rudolph. In addition to serving as the LMU EC’s Director, Professor Harhoff is the head of the LMU’s Institute for Innovation Research, Technology Management and Entrepreneurship (INNO-tec) and advises corporations and policy makers in a number of contexts. Professor Rudolph is the LMU EC’s Associate Academic Director and the head of the LMU’s Institute for Capital Market Research and Finance.

The Center’s strategic planning is controlled by its Program Commission, a body composed of  entrepreneurship specialists from academia and the business world.

This unique blend of competencies allows the LMU EC to benefit immensely from the personal and professional networks of its team members. Whether seasoned entrepreneurs, esteemed professors, successful venture capitalists, field experts, promising Ph.D. candidates or outstanding students: all team members have deep affinities with entrepreneurship and are highly committed to bringing the LMU EC to new heights.
