“Empowering Entrepreneurs!” – this is the vision pursued by the LMU Entrepreneurship Center (LMU EC) of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU). The LMU EC promotes entrepreneurship as a driving force of the knowledge economy.
LMU EC Teaching offers entrepreneurship courses for LMU students in a large number of faculties as well as advanced trainings for researchers, staff and partners. The LMU EC intends to provide over 1,000 persons with practice-oriented entrepreneurial know-how annually.
LMU EC Lab currently supports a dozen start-up teams and seeks to extend this number to thirty in the near future. In close collaboration with the LMU Technology Transfer Office, the LMU EC coaches students, graduates and scientists on their path towards founding new businesses.
LMU EC Community organizes regular networking and experience-sharing events at the LMU and runs an online platform for all interested in entrepreneurship (www.entrepreneurship.info). This LMU EC portal already has more than 2,500 users and is growing steadily, reaching well beyond the Munich area.
LMU EC Research undertakes scientific studies contributing to a better understanding of the economic and social importance of entrepreneurship. The research results help to develop recommendations for founders and economic policy makers.
We are a team of experienced entrepreneurs, industry experts and scientists committed to the spirit of entrepreneurship.
The LMU EC is a dynamic, young organization. The Center is currently implementing an ambitious growth strategy and is seeking partners, to participate in and support this development
