The LMU Entrepreneurship Center continues to build on the legacy of the ODEON Center for Entrepreneurship, initiated in 2000 with the help of Rolf C. Dienst, Wellington Partners and the Rooshoek Foundation.
In 2007, the outstanding perspectives developed by the Center were acknowledged externally when it was awarded a grant by the EXIST III program, a support program of the German Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology (BMWi) co-financed by the European Social Funds.
Since then, the Center has been renamed “LMU Entrepreneurship Center” as a university-wide recognized center inside the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
